I knitted this quilt last year. I had not knitted for many many years, saw this pattern in a magazine, and started.
The quilt is begun by knitting the 9 centre squares - 5 yellow, 4 blue. Then take each centre and add white arms, and so on until you have 9 separate large squares. Join together, knit the edges, and it's finished!
That's gorgeous! And I had to look closely to see that it was indeed knit. Of course, I'm sure if I saw it in real life, I'd know. But absolutely wonderful!
